What are Digital Certificates ?

ACCC server certificates are digital certificates that enable Web servers to establish Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) sessions with a variety of supported browsers, including Netscape Navigator® and Microsoft® Internet Explorer.
They serve two main purposes;
A:/ Confirmation of website Identity.
B:/ Provide a secure channel for information transfer.
The certificates are trusted by Entrust.net , A international SSL certificate issuer. This allows the Internet browser a seamless connection as it trusts and understands Entrust.net certificates.
