Vista Mail Setup
As an optional support path, our Internet Technical Support Staff has sent the following self-help information on your behalf:
Windows Mail is the default e-mail application included with Windows Vista (replacing Outlook Express). Windows Mail is designed to let you easily read your email while keeping you safe, and to make all of your email communication fun and hassle-free. Enhancements include a built-in Instant Search tool and improved Junk Mail and Phishing filters to help reduce the threat from unwanted and fraudulent e-mails.
Adding a New Mail Account in Vista Mail
1. Click the Window Start icon, then All Programs, and then click Windows Mail.

2. Type in your name; this will appear in the From field of all outgoing messages. Click the Next button.

3. Type in your Email address in the designated field. Click the Next button.

4. POP3 is the correct default server type within the drop down window and doesn’t need to be changed. Type wms1.accc.net.au for the incoming mail server within the Incoming Mail server field and your ISP's smtp settings for the outgoing mail server within the Outgoing Mail server field.
Do not place a checkmark beside Outgoing server requires authentication as Charter’s email server does not require authentication. Click the Next button when completed.
5. The Account Name will already be entered. Type the password for your email account and then click the Next button.

6. Click the Finish button to save the email settings.
