Fetch is a freeware FTP client for MacOS.
It is capable of multiple simultaneous connections.
Download, install, and run the program.
When it loads, create a
new Shortcut:
Go into the Customize menu, select New
Shortcut...
After that this window will
appear:
Enter all the info as you see it above:
1) In the Name field, enter anything you
like eg Homepages Server Shortcut
2) Leave Type as is eg Unknown.
3) In the Host field, enter homepages.ihug.com.au
4) In the User ID field, enter your login
name, eg webtest
5) In the Password field, enter you password.
If you need a new password, use our Password
Changer program.
6) In the Directory field, enter /public_html/
Click OK.
The window will disappear,
so you should go into the File menu, and
select New Connection...:
After that, the New Connection...
window will appear:
Click on the Shortcuts drop-down menu,
and select your shortcut (eg Homepages Server
Shortcut).
Click on the OK button.
Fetch will now connect to the server and
bring up another window:

You should be able to see the contents of
your website (it might be empty of course!).
You can now click on the
Put File... button to upload a file. When
you click on Put File... and file requestor
will appear:
You will need to navigate through the file
requestor until you find the file you would
like to upload.
When you have selected the file you would
like to upload, click Open, and the file
will be transferred to the server.
As soon as you move the file to the server,
it is viewable online in a browser. Because
browsers cache files, you may need to hold
the shift key and click reload or refresh
in order to see the latest version.
