start the configuration
of Outlook Express,
Double click on the
Outlook Express icon
located on the desktop |

Outlook
Express may prompt
you to connect to
the Internet, click
on Cancel. You do
not need to be connected
to the Internet to
configure your Outlook
Express settings.
From the drop down
menu marked ‘Tools’
select ‘Accounts’ |
The
account management
section of Outlook
Express will be opened.
To setup an email
account with Outlook
Express, click on
the Tab marked ‘Mail’
and click on the button
marked ‘Add’,
then select ‘Mail’. |

Enter
your name the way
you would like other
Internet users to
see when you send
e-mail messages. Click
Next. |
| Enter your E-mail
address.
Your
e-mail address is
your User name
(eg: fred) followed
by Your domain name
(yourdomain.com.au).
Separated by an
'@' symbol: fred@yourdomain.com.au
Click
Next.

ACCC
incoming mail server
is a POP3 server.
Select POP3
from the option
list.
The
name of the Incoming
mail server at ACCC
is: ‘ms1.accc.net.au'
The name of the
outgoing mail server
at ACCC is: ‘ms1.accc.net.au'
You
can use your "ISP's
mail setting on
the Outgoing mail
setting. (It doesn't
matter who send
the mail on, just
where you collect
it from.)
Enter
this in lower case
letters, then
Click
Next

Your
username should
be entered in
lower-case letters
in the ‘POP Account
name' field
and your password
entered in the ‘Password’
field,
Click
Next.

Enter
a name that Outlook
Express can save
your mail account
settings under.
You
may leave it as
mail or what ever
as this name will
not be seen by anyone
you send e-mail
to.
Click
Next.
